No veteran should be denied a safe place to live simply because they use a housing voucher. Our heroes answered the call to serve—now it’s our turn to stand up for them.
We must end all forms of discrimination against veterans using VASH vouchers and ensure they have access to the housing they’ve earned through their sacrifice.
Housing is a right. Respect is a duty. Support our veterans.

WHY WE Fundraise
Why We Fundraise
We fundraise to serve those who served us. As a chapter of the American GI Forum, our mission is to support veterans, advocate for their rights, and invest in the future through education and civic engagement. Fundraising allows us to provide direct assistance to local veterans, award scholarships to deserving students, and host programs that honor military service.
It also helps us travel to the State Capitol and Washington, D.C., where we advocate for policies that protect veterans’ benefits, expand housing access, and ensure our voices are heard at every level of government.
Every contribution strengthens our mission and honors the legacy of Dr. Hector P. García. Together, we fight for justice, dignity, and opportunity for all who served
